TONGUE JUT

The tip of the tongue pushes briefly between the front teeth and then withdraws.

MEANS

“Caught” — a recognition of a mistake or a transgression. Often a private acknowledgement.

CONTEXT

Appears in micro-moments after someone realises they have made an error, told a small lie, or been caught at something. Often unconscious. Easy to miss because the movement lasts a fraction of a second.

NOT

A lick of dry lips.
