The corners of the mouth rise, the cheeks lift, and the muscles around the eyes contract — producing wrinkles at the outer corners.

Genuine pleasure or amusement.
CONTEXT
The eye involvement is the signature. A smile that involves only the mouth is social, not felt. A Duchenne smile is involuntary and almost impossible to fake — the orbicularis oculi muscle around the eye does not respond reliably to conscious control.
