HEAD TILT
The head leans to one side, exposing the neck.
Comfort, openness, and interest. The body is exposing a vulnerable area, which it would not do under threat.
One of the most reliable rapport signals. Watch for it on dates, in interviews, and in sales conversations. A listener’s head tilt indicates engagement. A tilt while speaking softens the speaker’s message. Common in dogs and many mammals — a deeply rooted social signal.
A stretch or a neck strain.
