MIRRORING
One person’s posture, gestures, or speech rhythm begins to match the other’s.
Rapport. The bodies have aligned because the minds have.
A consequence of liking, not a cause of it. Deliberate mirroring as a technique is less powerful than it is often claimed to be. Useful as a diagnostic — watch whether your conversation partner is mirroring you. If they are, you have rapport. If they are not, you do not.
Coincidental matching due to similar environment (both leaning back in similar chairs).
