HEAD COCKED AT SPEAKER
The head turns and angles slightly so that one ear is closer to the speaker than the other.
Focused listening. The person is concentrating on what is being said.
A subtler version of the head tilt. The motion is toward the source of sound rather than a passive lean. Useful in noisy environments to identify which speaker someone is most engaged with.
A response to hearing impairment, which is consistent across all conversations.
