HEAD FREEZE
All head movement stops abruptly, often paired with widened eyes and slowed breathing.
A high-stress response. The body is performing a freeze under threat or shock.
One of the three classic threat responses (fight, flight, freeze). The freeze response is the most subtle and the most missed. Watch for the moment the person stops moving — that is the moment of impact. Note what triggered it.
Stillness during deep listening, which is paired with relaxed muscles.
