JAW CLENCH
The muscles at the corner of the jaw tighten visibly, sometimes producing a small bulge below the ear.
Suppressed anger or extreme effort to control a response.
One of the harder-to-fake signals. Often appears during difficult conversations where the person feels they cannot say what they think. Habitual clenchers develop visible jaw muscles (masseter hypertrophy) over years.
Concentration during physical effort.
