PROLONGED CLOSURE
The eyes close for noticeably longer than a blink — half a second or more — before reopening.
An attempt to remove the stimulus. The person does not want to see what they are seeing, or hear what they are hearing.
A blocking behaviour. Common when someone is told something they did not want to know. The closure is often paired with a small head shake or a downward tilt.
Tiredness. Read the trigger, not the act in isolation.
