A NOTE ON RELIABILITY

Every entry carries a weight.

Behavioural science is not physics. Some signals are well-evidenced and consistent across cultures. Others are suggestive at best. Each entry in SIGNAL is marked with a reliability rating from one to three dots.

SUGGESTIVE

Observed but not consistent. Treat as a question, not an answer.

CONSISTENT

Reliable across most contexts when clustered with other signals.

ROBUST

Well-evidenced, cross-cultural, hard to fake under load.

A single signal is never proof. Read the rules before you read anyone.
